Why "Pay-on-Result" is a Hedge, Not a Gamble
2025-12-28•Yash Rawat
The hourly billing model creates a perverse incentive: the slower the developer, the more they get paid. I reject this.
Alignment of Incentives
When I charge based on results (e.g., successful deployment, verified optimization), I am incentivized to use the most powerful tools available to finish the job immediately.
This is why I invest heavily in AI infrastructure. My "Council of Agents" isn't a gimmick; it's the capital equipment that allows me to deliver weeks of work in days, making the Pay-Per-Result model profitable for me and risk-free for the client.
